Always On The Go

This week has been just like every other one very busy.   Yesterday I spent my day running around town getting things done. I went sourcing for stuff. I also went to the bank to handle a situation with my debit card, thankfully that young lady got me taken care of. I came home got all the packages together and loaded them into the car, my husband and daughter took them once I got back from getting her. I started working on scheduling posts for all my businesses. Today, I sit here working on things that need to be done, while my daughter is taking her pre-ACT test at school. Tomorrow I'll be going to see my great-grandmother and aunt. That is a 2-hour drive 1 way and then I have to rush back home to get my daughter from high school.   Thursday will be hitting up sales to find stuff to resell. Friday is the same as Thursday, which there might be more than a few to go to.  Saturday, I may set up at the flea market with my husband and then come home and clean the house. I will have to

Still Learning

I'm still learning how to do this whole blogging thing, it's all very new to me, but I think in the long run I can eventually get to writing more about what I am doing. I apologize if my blogs seem very short at the moment. I'm doing my best to learn how to go about this.  If you have any bloggers that you love, send me the link, because I would love to see how they are doing theirs.

debugging

Today I am learning how to debug a program, which in itself can be a challenge. I am definitely learning a lot within this class and can't wait to see what else this class has to offer me.  I would highly recommend anyone looking into Computer Science, this is definitely a class for you. However, you don't get a verified certificate, but you can buy one for $200. A lot cheaper alternative to attending classes full-time. You still get a certificate for attending the class.  What is something you are learning that's new to you?

Coding

So, I have been taking this class through Harvard University for Introduction to Computer Science and it has been so eye-opening for me.  I have been learning a lot over the last few weeks. This week I am learning to code, and it is definitely not easy, one simple mistake and your code doesn't work. I've been lucky enough to learn how to figure out my mistake, now I have had a few times where I needed a little guidance, but overall, I love the class.  I definitely will be working towards more opportunities over the next few months.

Boss Babe mindset...

“For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10) So I have always wanted to run my own business and I've tried different outlets. I've even had folks tell me that I will never be successful in my own business. It honestly is what strives me to continue to push to be better at what I do. I currently sell on 5 platforms, I sell from an MLM (*I wouldn't be where I am because of it), I also sell at other markets. I am currently in the process of finding a stand-alone building so that i can actually have my own shop someday.  I have had more support from strangers than I have from family and to be honest, that is ok. It gives me that push that I need to be successful in life. I won't give up and want to be successful in life and be able to do what I want. If there is one thing I have learned in this life since being my own boss it's that I have to believe in myself and that I have t

Ed's Restaurant - Defuniak Springs Florida

So yesterday while out sourcing in several locations we stopped at this place called Ed's Restaurant. We both ordered the cheeseburger. I got tater tots and my husband got crinkle fries. I absolutely enjoyed every single bite of both the cheeseburger and the tots. My husband said that he loved his as well. I definitely would love to go back and try something else out. The staff were absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
